  • 2023 Renovation of the Children’s Museum (formerly the Korean Culture Activity Room).
  • 2023 Renovation of the Clothing Cultural Hall.
  • 2020 Reorganization the Medieval Cultural Hall.
  • 2019 Reorganization of the Ancient Culture Hall.
  • 2010 Construction of the Clothing Cultural Hall.
  • July. 2010 Renovation is completed.
2010’ ~ Present
2000’ ~ 2009’
  • Dec. 2009 Renovation of Daegu National Museum begins.
  • Oct. 19, 2006 Haesol Hall opens.
  • Dec. 2004 Art gallery is reorganized.
  • Mar. 2004 Construction of Haesol Hall begins.
  • Nov. 2003 Plans for Haesol Hall are completed.
2020’ ~ 2009’
1989’ ~ 1999’
  • Dec. 7, 1994 Daegu National Museum opens as the eighth national museum in Korea.
  • May. 1994 Daegu National Museum is officially confirmed by the Korean government (Presidential Decree #17611). Construction is completed
  • July. 1990 Construction begins.
  • Feb. 1989 Construction plans are prepared.
