Korean Culture Activity Room

In the Korean Culture Activity Room, visitors can gain a better understanding and appreciation of Korean culture by handling and examining various cultural objects. The Activity Room is available by reservation only, for five sessions during the museum’s regular hours.

  • Session 1: 10:00 - 11:20 am
  • Session 2: 11:30 - 12:50 am
  • Session 3: 1:00 - 2:20 pm
  • Session 4: 2:30 - 3:50 pm
  • Session 5: 4:00 - 5:20 pm

70 people allowed per session. To make a reservation, please visit the Information Desk. For questions, please call our Learning Team: 82-53-760-8580~3. We cannot accept reservations by phone.
Some sessions require outside materials that you can purchase at the museum. Please see descriptions below for more information.

Making rock art

Explore diverse types of rock art found in Korea and make your own with clay
Required material: Clay/Soil; KRW 1,100 per pack

Artifact rubbing

Complete puzzles of imitations of diverse artifacts and learn their appearances and features in detail.
Required material: Rice or vellum paper (1000₩ per pack)


Put together a jigsaw puzzle of a Korean artifact or painting.
Required material: None

History of Korean clothing

Learn about how threads are made into fabric, and how fabrics are made into clothes. Then, try out some equipment for making clothing.
Required material: None

Time travel

Learn how artifacts are excavated and put on display at the museum. Travel through time to explore famous artifacts from different time periods.
Required material: None
